How do lives work?

You have five lives, and one comes back every 30 minutes. A life is used only when an attempt at a level you haven't cleared jams and you then restart or leave it. Undo, hints, rewind, replays of cleared levels, Challenge runs and the Daily Flow never cost a life.

From version 1.1, a short ad appears after every fifth level you clear, never during one. When you are out of lives you can also choose to watch a video for one, up to three a day. No ad is shown between levels while unlimited lives are running. If you were asked for your consent, you can change your answer under Settings, then Ad choices.

I'm stuck on a level

Use Hint for the next useful move. If the flow jams, Rewind takes you back to the last position that can still be solved. Both are free and unlimited.

A purchase didn't arrive

Close and reopen the game. A purchase that was interrupted is delivered when the game starts.
Open the shop and tap Restore purchases. Life packs, unlimited lives and boosters are used up when bought, so there is nothing to restore later, but this collects anything still waiting.
With Ask to Buy, the items arrive once the purchase is approved.
For refunds, use reportaproblem.apple.com. Purchases are handled by Apple.

Keeping progress on a new device

Open your profile (the gardener badge on the title screen) and choose Sign in with Apple. Your progress is then saved to your own iCloud and follows you to any iPhone or iPad signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud turned on. Syncing can take up to a minute.

The five regenerating lives belong to each device. Bought and earned lives travel with your save.

Game Center

Game Center is optional. Nothing happens until you tap Sign in to Game Center in your profile. If that says to sign in in the Settings app, open Settings, then Game Center, and sign in there first.

Deleting your data

In your profile, Delete account data removes the cloud save linked to your Apple Account and signs you out. Deleting the app removes your progress and settings from the device. Your lives and what your purchases granted are kept in the iOS Keychain, so they are still there if you install the game again. To stop using Sign in with Apple with Pixel Home, open the Settings app, tap your name, then Sign in with Apple.
